The Academic Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Prof Chris Ward is head of the Department of Rehabilitation and Ageing at the University of Nottingham. He works as a consultant in rehabiltation medicine in Derby. He has conducted research into Parkinson's Disease and has a special interest in rehabilitation in Multiple System Atrophy and other Parkinsonian disorders. Prof Ward and his team accept referrals from the other consultants who treat Parkinson's Disease.

Prof Ward currently sees patients at King's Lodge on the Derby City Hospital Campus. He is planning to team up with therapists in the day hospital and take part in a compex rehabilitation clinic for Parkinsonian disorders.
