The Movement Disorder Clinic.

Dr Nin Bajaj FRCP is the consultant neurologist in the Derby movement disorder clinic. He graduated in medicine from Oxford University and trained in Neurology at Queen's Square in London. He has a specialist interest in Parkinson's Disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.

The weekly movement disorder clinic takes place on Monday mornings in the out-patient department of the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary. Dr Bajaj is assisted by Specialist registrars training in neurology, and by the Parkinson's Disease Specialist Nurse.

Patients seen in the movement disorder clinic are generally seen within 8 weeks of referral from their GP. If indicated, patients may be send for specialist scans some of which are done in Derby and some in Nottingham.

A patient satisfaction survey has shown high levels of satisfaction on a number of indices.
